Yes a bit sad to be honest reading this. I've driven from London to hove and back bypassing any retailers just to pick a bat from the Hove shop in the past. I considered them then to be the best batmakers along with salix.
If I was going to buy one now I think I would get an old model second hand.
In my opinion they have made some of the best bats you can buy. The UZI and Mjolnir being two of them.

Hopefully it's just a cosmetic rethink they need,it would be real shame if they went downhill (any further)

Advice anyone? My bat that i sent over two months just for a clean up is still no- where to be seen. I rung newbery five times today and no one answered the phone. I have left another message and e- mailed numerous times to ask them to send me my bat back even if it is not been done, as i could still use it it its present state. So no phone contact, no replies to e-mails, no ring back after a leaving a message and all they have to do is put my bat in a box and post it!!

Any suggestions what I can do next?

Kick up a fuss on social media, anything public Facebook Twitter Instagram, they are more likely to reply if the public can see it as it is damaging to their reputation, it's worth a go at least

They are crap with re-furb time keeping. A mate sent it in October got it in April. Beggers belief! B3 give you a rent bat if its not going to be done in a week!

Half my club have been frustrated with Newbery/MKK lately over kit orders, I ordered a shirt and cap from them in March and haven't got it yet. Phones, emails, facebook posts, nothing. Only thing which got a response was emailing and asking for a refund, which produced a reply saying 'sorry for the delay, it should be with you next week'. Safe to say I won't be buying anything else from them in future.
