Aero P1 V7 Size Large VS Stretton Foxes
« on: May 01, 2016, 04:46:27 PM »

Currently using Aero P1 V7 Size Large strippers and cannot get on with them. Feels like they are too big.

I have been looking at the BAS thigh pad sets and also the Stretton Foxes.

What do people recommend? Its a hard pill to swallow after spending £50 plus on the P1s thinking they were the business and after wearing them a few times not liking them.

I've got the @Blank Bats thigh pad set and also the Affinity (moonwlkr) set and they are both excellent. The blank bats ones are really low profile considering the amount of protection they offer and they look the business too!

What is the height (maximum top to bottom) of the Blank Bats' main pad? I've been considering Aero P2s, but like the idea of not having to have the rear thigh pad all the time.
Sizes of thigh pads is info that is not easy to come by. At 6'3'' I don't want to buy something and find it is too small.

Any other recommendations for a longer thigh pad (set)?
Thanks,

David

The opening batsmen in our first team has a pair of Aero P2s but cut the inner thigh pad off due to not liking it, if you only want one thigh pad I would recommend @StrettonFox Sports as they are probably the most unique and best quality thigh pads on the market

I think Stretton Fox are between versions, at the moment. I have them in mind, as they are not bulky, either. Will investigate them further to see time scales, too

Thanks.

I'm eyeing up some Remfrys too be honest. Something that highly recommended must be worth an investment!!

I have had two sets of Aero P1s but am getting sick of rearranging them after running a single. Is this just a problem with all thigh pads or are there better options with this in mind?

I rarely adjust my strettons...... Aslong as I put them on properly.

Issue with them being separate pads with Seperate straps, I often don't get one right enough, or strap incorrectly. Only once in about ten games though.

Other 9 times they move very little. Fit perfectly(they are custom fit to individual) and the protection is second to non.
