Good purchase, it looks like a good bat. I also bought one a few months back, and have found it to be a very good bat. As you say the pick up for such a full and long middled bat is amazing. The only thing I don't quite understand is that I understood from the videos is that this is the pro shape of which we get to buy from the leftovers, however all the pros I see using BAS seem to be using the standard BAS profiles. It doesn't make these bats less good, they really are very good, but is a point of curiosity.

Guessing the pros pick their bats on balance, not fullness. A full profile is great for us amatuers who sometimes go an entire inns without middling a ball. For a pro that is less of a concern, so the standard shape is fine and better balanced. The other benefit of playing higher is better pitches and balls.

Nice bat at a very good price. Just curious why they have orange stickers on a pro bat.

BAS have a lot of contracted players only a few we get to see on TV. These contracted pro players use this shape as well as many other BAS profile shapes. As for the stickers not all the contracted players use the same stickers so some bats may come with different coloured stickers depending on what that player is using at the time. Most of the dolphin pro bats will come with players edition stickers, but there are lower grade dolphin shaped bats available, these tend to have fewer grains and may have some nots or blemishes and tend to be smaller in size for the weight.

I waited close to 3 to 4 months for this bat especially in weight of 2.9 to 2.10 as most of them are way heavy for me. Hanif sorted me out with this bat and I really liked it. Used it in nets few weeks back, the response was quiet good and will get better eventually.
