So I purchased a Gray Nicolls Select about a month ago from The Cricket Company and have been very happy with it, picks up beautifully, pings well and has felt good on the two occasions I've used it. The first being a net session and the second in Saturday's match. Inspecting it this evening I just found this...

I knocked it in for the required 4-5 hours and put a scuff sheet on so even though the crack/split is small, for a new bat it's surprising and worrying...
Any ideas on what I should do? Just relay the scuff sheet and tape it? Glue it? Take it back?

Ive only ever seen these yellow circular marks in pics but am pretty sure it shouldnt affect performance in any way...

It's from the lacquer on the ball, I hit the ball so hard it transferred from the ball onto the willow

I'd seal that now before it gets any worse personally.
Fill it with a bit of superglue and give it a fine sand while the glue is still wet.

I pm'd TCC on Twitter this evening and am awaiting what they suggest I do...
Hopefully they'll be able to sort me out! If not I'll give what Paul does in the video a go...
