well this is when they went on sale @InternalTraining and you could only get two and the tickets were balloted

I remember having to apply for the ballot in October/November and being successful around January time. At Day 4 in the Edrich Lower which is apparently rather cold but with the weather looking shaky I'm glad I'll be covered...

After watching yesterday's play what have we learnt about Woakes he can score runs against an average bowling attack ( Hearth apart ) on a flat easy paced track.
Bowling lacks imagination without pitch help and overcast conditions  to many balls straight or on the pads Easily picked off  he needs to learn how to bowl consistently in the corridor of uncertainty still the nearly man.

I think we've also learnt that as a collective, the England attack can make a flat track look even flatter!

Strange, I didn't watch but every match report I've read in the media from yesterday has said Woakes bowled well, quickly and was unlucky... Also the scorecard seems to say he got more runs than all the top 6 except Cook and was our most economical bowler? Give the bloke a break.

He bowled quicker than any one else but lacked guile to many balls on the wrong areas when he came into bat the pitch had flattened out batting became easier.
how many opportunities can you give anyone at this level.
