No, customer care should anything go wrong with the bat. The general consensus seems to be that they don't even respond to emails when this happens

After sales there is no service. Its like a one way ticket. You pay money, bat gets posted to you and they don't respond when something happens. However there is no surprise on this regard, since SS does the same when you buy directly from them. Shipping cost to return bats back to them could easily become a significant percent of the bat price. Many people don't return they just retire these bats into net bat or go ahead on eBay for re-sale.

A lot of grainy willow coming from RNS at the moment. Anyone know how their bats are pressed and what their knocking in is like?

@IQ - I understand you may have had bad experience with Larsons or CA bat. But it may not happen to everyone. I still have an old CA 12k which works really well.
Back in the day CA were really good. CA 12k and CA 12K TRD were some nice bats.

Lately (especially since last year) they have been very crappy.

Isn't that any bat you buy? You're buying a natural product!
but in case of Larsons or CA the odds are stacked against you!  ;)
