Bat Hotspot Markers
« on: May 25, 2016, 01:11:19 PM »

Hi Guys

Does anyone know where I can purchase a bat sheet marker? I've found a few US websites but nothing in the UK. They're for checking where you hit the ball.

Thanks

Buy a small roll of thermal printer paper, light coat of spray adhesive on the back and job done!

This would probably work out cheaper. Any recommendations for the adhesive? Wouldn't want it ruining the bat face.

I was thinking that golf impact tape would work but can't see where you can buy it by the roll. However I did come across this idea. Providing that your bat has a scuff sheet just colour in the face with a dryboard marker. Every impact will show up as a clear mark. Just recolour and repeat until you work it out.

Probably something light duty like a repositionable spray adhesive. 3M does one and most art supplies stores would have something similar.

The other option is to run thin strips of double sided tape along the edges of the thermal paper and tape it along both edges.

You could clingfilm the bat and glue/tape to that? This would work for the dry board marker idea as well.
