With all the talk around the new GN bats would B3 be able to find an ultra low density cleft and make this shape but lighter? Correct me if I'm wrong but some of their Crown clefts come in very light weights so why doesn't someone in the UK go down that path? Id say that with postage from Aus that a crown would be similar in price?

They can't put a bow bats like most manufacturers I believe and I think that bow is a major reason why these big GN bats pick up so well for the weight.

I did see on a NZ website that they will be doing a Kane Williamson replica, would love to see one of those in the flesh, supposed to be 2.8

Is there a reason they won't sarge?  How can they copy a bat if they won't do it?

To create a big bow theyd have to underpress certain areas like the toe, which they wont do.

Spot on @dcullen8. I have asked Steaky and they do a slight bow. Streaky is adamant that the bow does not improve pickup and there is no scientific evidence that supports this. Pretty sure GM cut the bow as opposed to press it. Having knocked many bats with heavy bends as opposed to arcs I think they tend to feel overpressed at the bend. Not having played them in and used them I can't say whether this is detrimental to overall performance. As for the hitting over the top argument I think that is psychological and more enhanced by technique. They more change the set of the handle to compensate for bow.

@skip1973 no one has asked B3. I was simply answering the question on B3 bow. Im sure Bat makers can copy any shape, but it's not the same as owning the actual bat. If people want it buy it. If you want a bat that will make you runs in every situation you'd think twice. This is a special needs bat. I'd hate to be caught out using it on a fast uneven track.

I couldn't use it on a flat track, they are too big in my opinion. But the question remains for me is how can B3 in this case copy a bat if they can't/won't bow a blade?

I have the bat and bow is not cut, it is a proper bow created by GN.

Stuart Kranzbuhler has made an amazing bat in that GN Warner replica.

The bat case is quality too. Have to admit this bat has outstanding quality written all over it. The other thing is Stuart knows how to press a bat perfectly. I have knocked a Legend, Ultimate, Elite and all have been pinged beautifully. I think the Aussie handmade range is top tier.
