Congrats on picking up a stunner.. You made a sound decision for letting IJC hand pickng the bat.. IJC is one if the best when it comes to hand picking bats.

Lovely stick. Can't fault the minimalist stickers that let the willow shine. Now go reap the runs with it!

Thanks for the comments guys. The irony is that the only runs being scored will be in my garden. I'm actually out for the season. Just couldn't stand waiting to get my hands on this bat and I'm so glad I did. Pretty sure my living room score is 76* going into tea  ;)

What's the face width?
There are a couple of nice looking bb's on ebay in super light weight, and upon my inquiry, one was 102 mm and the other was 104 mm.

As the legal width is 108mm, I'll go out on a limb and say that the 104mm one you wouldn't even notice was thinner unless you were told.
102mm is still only a 6mm difference which is not a lot in the grand scheme of things. If you've had a bat refurbished they'd be a similar width to those stated above and most people get their bat back and use it without a second thought. They still perform just as well out of the middle at the end of the day.

Always confused when people say this, how much do you sand off the edges of a bat when you refurb it?! 3mm either side is a hell of a lot of wood to remove. Think I'll measure next time I do a refurb.

I read it on here (possibly from a bat maker) and it sounded believable, so I didn't question it lol

I measured both the B1 and B20 I have and they are 107 mm in my eyes. Again looking at I doubt you would ever realise if I lost a bit off the edges. My CA actually measured 104 mm and I never would have known if I wasn't curious and checked the bat.
