So the bats seem to have made it out there, retailers any idea when can we expect to see the new bags etc? @Uzi Sports  @Vitas Cricket

I got the Legend duffle a couple of weeks ago, had an urgent need for one so they are out there!

Did you get it direct? Seems to be on a lot of stores' websites but not in stock anywhere. Also, clearly it doesn't exist ;) Pretty sure the Legend is a bag the forum would be very keen to see a photo review of, get them up!

Got it from Lorimers - think it was the week before last! I'm away at the mo but if nobody else has put pics up in the mean time I should be able to do something on Thursday :)

Seems to be really well made from what I can see, fits all my kit with ease and has the advantage of being a duffle but opening from the front so you don't have to pack it perfectly stood up as you do with something like a GN1000. Couple of negatives that I can see are the really annoying velcro connectors in the bat pocket (keeps the fabric that separates the bats pinned down but wasn't fitted properly when I got it) and the shoe pocket only has a thin lining that drops in to the main duffle area (a bit like you get with a holdall) which I've never really liked. Saying that, really happy coming from a GN1000 that took me about 10 minutes to pack up and wouldn't fit all my kit.

Out of interest what can you fit in it? I have the supernova which is really good but I could do with a little more room. Is there a suitable pocket for pre/post match clothes plus showering gear? I never know what to do with mine.

Bags are in the country, we are awaiting stock but we didn't order that many as we have a reasonably large amount left over from 2016, so we might be a little way down the delivery schedule.

As requested!

Not sure what to write as a bag is a bag but there's lots of space, enough room for 3 bats and current two sets of pads (don't normally have both in, just storing for over winter!), three pairs of gloves, arm guard, strippers, helmet, shoes and cap/balls/stuff.

There is a cavernous main pocket that opens from the side so easy to pack and a shoe pocket that drops in to the same compartment. At the top there are two pockets, one for a helmet and the other for random bits. Finally, there's a padded pocket at the rear for three bats and a couple of mesh bits at the side of the bag on the outside.

Did you have a duffle before this one @AndrewS ? If so, which one and how does the legend compare?

Not sure what I'll do yet but I imagine I can keep a spare set of clothes in the main pocket in a plastic bag. I then tend to put my used whites in that bag after changing and just carry them to the car separately. I suppose they could easily go back in the bag as it's big!

Yup, I had a GN1000 for about 2 and a half years. The strap popped due to a bit of misuse so this was an emergency replacement :)

Not used this one for games yet (obviously!) but one of my issues with the GN1000 was that it had to be packed very precisely... took ages. This is very much like a holdall, open up and chuck in. Also it does fit a lot more in - there's two sets of pads in at the moment, that would have never fit in the GN1000. The separate pocket of the helmet is great too as I used the top pocket on the GN1000 for whites as it was too small for a helmet.

I used to fit batting pads and gloves, wk gloves and pads, aero p2, 2 pairs of shoes, box, whites and a helmet in the gn1000. The helmet went in the top pocket. Absolutely agree it was ever so slightly too small and fiddly.

Very happy with my new legend duffle though :)

Thanks for the replies. I much prefer a duffle so the changing room isn't so crowded. Sounds like this one is an improvement on lasts years stuff. The only draw back to the supernova was having to take everything out of the bag to pack it again, especially when batting second. All my keeping stuff fell to the bottom and got in the way of packing right. Only a slight inconvenience but a great excuse to buy more kit.

This was supposed to be a cricket united bat used by the GN players in the Oval test this Summer. It was rain affected if i recall, and very few players used them. As a result we decided not to order the handful we planned to order.

Still not sure if i like seeing the GN logo in blue.

Hi @AndrewS ... where is the shoe tunnel? Is that Apple bag what your shoes are in? I already have the Supernova from last year, but this looks even better!
