Newbery Krakatoa
« on: July 28, 2016, 05:35:26 PM »

having stumbled across chads end of season 2015 sale half way through this season a bat took my fancy, 2.11 ish newbery Krakatoa sps!

Now I have used the bat a few times in the nets but as its not my league match bat (h4l takes that honour for now) I decided to give it a waft in a midweek t20 and hit 10 off 9 on a truly awful pitch And none got anywhere near the middle however the rest of the bat felt great! In the nets the middle really went even defensive shOts seemed to effortlessly rebound off the blade!

The bat it's self! Not massive by any stretch of the imagination but enough there to ping rather nicely!

Specs:
Edge: 33mm
Spine: 45mm
Bow: slight
Concavity: very slight
Pick up: even
Grains: 7/8 straight

As I know you lot don't believe bats exist until there are pics so here we go:

And just for fun a comparison vs my h4l and adidas incurza

Now I know where I was going wrong! Was being rather aggressive with mine! ;)

Glad you're liking it bud!

Is a defensive (No Swearing Please) the one where the lock on the only available cubicle is broken and you have to be ready to defend the door at a moment's notice?

Yeah going really well! Depending on how the rest of the season and winter nets go it stands a have of becoming my #1 ahead of h4l and that's says by something!
