Well he definitely won't be using bats out of shrink wrap...

definitely doesn't have the 'new balance' sticker on the edge either

Haha exactly, it quite clearly isn't one of Joe Roots' actual bats. It's about an genuine as my batting ability!

From the FC Sondhi sticker it isn't even a genuine New Balance, let alone a genuine Joe Root bat  :(

Had received these pics from crown cricketer
He said these are full profile bats. The sticker does give manufacturer's name - FC Sondhi

Another Indian brand owner also mentioned that its now required to have the name of manufacturer on the product.

Joe Root's current bat is a very similar shape to the GM Mana if you look at it from side on. I may not be right though as my Root players edition Six6 and my Mana do not look alike really. It seems though that GM had that profile to release around the time Root left GM and once he did it was their hail mary so to speak.

I love when he says "the bats he gets through NB are fantastic" (rolling my eyes).

Interesting that he only seems vaguely aware of the bat weight. Michael Hussey once said "if it feels good in the hands it means runs" and Joe says the same.

Hussey carried round scales with him, and would religiously weigh his bats

My apologies, it was David Hussey, not Michael Hussey who said that.
