Southern Nets over the winter
« on: September 07, 2016, 11:41:06 AM »

Hi
@Sivlar13 @SOULMAN1012 @tommo256 @ppccopener @WalkingWicket37 @FattusCattus @Northern monkey @neoncricket @RoCo Da Pixie @simonmay5 @Batbuddy99 @LEACHY48 @petehosk

I have combined this list from past Hampshire lists and people who have mentioned interest in other threads.

IF I HAVE MISSED ANY ONE PLEASE ADD THEM THE MORE THE MERRIER. IF YOU ARE READING THIS POST YOU ARE ALSO WELCOME  :-D

We mentioned that we should do a CBF net again, personally I thoroughly enjoyed the last one even Brucie's induckers and the monster heat, so I thought we could get us all together again over the winter. This side of xmas is good before clubs start booking up facilities for their winter nets. my plan below

Time - My initial thoughts are Saturday or Sunday morning (11 onwards) 2-3 hours or longer depending on numbers
First one in October or November. To organise availability. simply put your name (CBF) and when you are available below

http://doodle.com/poll/qr2q7fb6gf6ypevf

The sooner we get this done the earlier we can start to prepare our significant others that we will be away during this time. for me this takes time ;-)

Location - Eversley cricket centre Bob Schofield Way Fox Lane Eversley Cross Hampshire RG27 0NQ

I'm not wedded to this place and encourage other suggestions for future events. I know Dummer (by Chase!) near basingstoke is good and Wargrave Piggot is also an option nearer Reading way but I will start with the Eversley plan.

I am happy to book and sort out money once we have numbers. let the games begin

this could be a very popular thread as soon as the penny drops the season is over. I'm in and will fill out the form.

Eversley is great even if you just want to stand there and lose three stone in weight.it's tropical and better than weight-watchers.  :) :)

well done @Mpt7

Eversley is 'induckermungous'!  I shall attempt to fill in this fiendish technical form of yours, but I am up for it whenever I'm free.

I am definitely up for nets and happy to fit in with others as much as possible.
The form looks good but I will see when the main population are up for nets and plan accordingly! Happy Days!!  :D

Good luck with that! He's like Inzi - he has his net, then wants to sit down in a nice wicker chair, off to one side!

How dare you! I would need a leather queen Anne chair thanks.
