Ribbed, thin or flavoured?

You'll only reveal after the event you lied about putting it on anyway...

On a serious note - if anyone has any white kit or OLS unbranded softs, my arm could be twisted.

Just dug out my net bat and shaved a coupla ounces off in anticipation for the hostile quick bowling I'm likely to encounter!!
Might even get one of those thigh pad thingies just in case?

Oh and the missus is just doing the first batch of cup cakes, for those not doing any silly diets

I'll give you hostile bowling!  I'll stick one on yer snot-box (on the way down :D)!!

Might have to duck out of tomorrow. According to the wife I have a prior engagement - parents in law :-( . I'll see if I can get out of it but it's not looking good.

Estimate that 4 people have dropped out (2 almost definitely, 1 sick note and 1 under the thumb prior arrangements)
This leaves 28 people (29 if you count Procricket, who is unlikely to bat due to injury)
So just over 34 minutes batting for each, spread over 4 nets! I guess that will even out to 30 minutes each!
Add to that a mountain of cakes and goodies, more willow your average cricket shop, plus option to grab a rather nice burger and pint after and it should add up to a fine day!

Can't bloody wait! 2 months of no cricket at all is too long, dying for a net and some willowgazing.

Anyone volunteering to run each net to give everyone a bat - I’d rather not drone on again this time! (Someone handy with a stopwatch perhaps?)

I don't mind doing one if we're short of volunteers.  Don't think the wounded rhino will be bowling much tomorrow, got a ropey ankle.  Would be good if we could set up a bit of filming too. Don't mind using my phone but got no stand of any kind. Has anyone else?
