A lot of sanding and gluing later and she's done, not perfect by any means but pretty happy with the finish given how the bat was when I started! Probably needs another coat of oil and awaiting a scuff and new second grip, then time to get batting with it again.
The middle's so long on this, such a shame about the heavy concaving making it narrow too. Measured at 63mm spine and ~34mm edge.
An old repair holding up nicely
Thought it was a bit dry, was still surprised when I weighed it - when I bought this, with a single chevron/minimal stickers/no scuff it was 2.10.5! Should have weighed it before the sanding to see how much difference that made.
