Thanks all, seems our main competition is from a Paddle boarding club in Oxford but with a United front we can ensure cricket benefits with the #BeersFromTheBalcony campaign as I've named it.

Right the CBFers...we've now hit 10K which is a great effort.

In the midst of getting to this number a few club members have pledged things to spur us on, one lad promised NEVER again to mention his 177* on which he basically recalls every time he plays for any team at the club when we hit 7.5K...thankfully we managed this and he's gutted as he's actually got 177* on his club shirt!

As kit badgers we have the same lad who refused to throw away kit, he scored his 177* with a £16 Asda bat and the sad items you see below are his beloved batting gloves!

Yes he actually wears these!

If we hit 12K by Sunday evening he has promised to burn them and replace them next season. Please vote if you havent already to help ensure he doesn't take to the crease wearing these abominations next year 🙈

Right giving this another bump in the hope that those who havent voted yet can spare 2 mins to click a few times and boost our bid.

Currently were neck and neck with a gymnastics club up North....come on Forum members dont let us loose to a hobby horse!!!

We bagged £24,817.20 having come in the top 2 in the competition :D

Great news as it means we can get work underway to get the balcony back into action before the season arrives as it makes a massive difference to the whole atmosphere at the club being able to use it to watch and drink a beer on in the evening.
