RS pro SH, this is a gift for a friend. Unreal ping

Can I be your friend too?

We might have to have a chat about blue pads and green gloves though. It's making me feel ill.

SS Reserve looks like a beast. Lovely graynes. That's the one you should gift me  ;)

@DorsetDan The handle feels really good. It is thickish semi oval at the bottom and round at the top. I usually put two grips on all my SS bats, but will stick with the one grip on RS. Robinsons quality is really top notch.

@GoodLeave good point about the mismatch in colors. I do have a blue BAS players gloves as well that I plan to use. Also, in the process of getting a RS Robinsons all white glove (clearly becoming their biggest of fans. Even their scuff sheet is top notch). Will use the Kookaburra for nets only. Thanks  :)

@DorsetDan yes it is mid to low middle. I am not sure exactly how much higher the middle. Will measure and can post back if needed.

I still have to get my gear into (the same) place. In the meantime here's a photo or two.

The theme was I needed 2 of everything. High and low(ish) middle plus T20 bats with their wet weather spares.

The pink gripped bat is the AOC test bat made by Hunts and is going very well. Turbo profile. The Vortex is the spare.

High middle bat on it's way from Hunts (Matt hybrid profile) while the Aura is the spare.

And the silver gripped one is a LB H4L Hellfire is spare for just in case something happens to the AOC Hunts.

I was fixated that I needed T20 bats so along came the Mongoose and the Uzi. Good as they are I can't see myself going to the middle with one of these so they're surplus.

The GM is promised to a team-mate. The SAF is a bit of an enigma to me. Well made but the face is too round for me and it's out of vogue. CA was my match bat but toe is cracked and needs repair. The one of the left is just an old school LH Slaz (V800?). Just wanted a cheap 'old' profile LH to see what they're about.

Pads - Puma Iridium Flex and Kook Pro's
Gloves - Ayrteks, M&H Black sausage and Kook Pro's
Thigh pads - Foxes, Remfrys and Mongoose.
Fielding pads - Foxes
Helmets - Albion 98 and Club Pro
Bags - GN Supanova, Newbery tour and Adidas players duffle.

@Mowglee123 - Master 9000 seems to have taken a lot of brunt. How long have you been using this bat? Some of my friends have had broken handle issues with this model. Wondering what is your experience ...

@sanredrose I got only one season out of it unfortunately, about 550 to 600 runs. I am a hard hitter, so that doesn't help. However, I agree with others that SS bats are relatively drier, but perform really well. Regarding the handle, it has been ok. This was a custom bat made by jatin sareen, and I think he put these stickers since this model had just been launched. I didn't pay for this bat :)

@DorsetDan is it good enough to be your bat this year?
