Mostly settled on my gear.

The Bats
Custom Hunts players grade, still needs to be prepared.
Hunts AOC test bat in Revolution profile. Going very well.
GM Aura 404 with butterfly stain on the back. Wet weather/loan bat.
Plus possibly an Aldred Sovereign Butterfly.

Pads
Puma Flextech, very comfy and light.
Stretton fielding pads. I feel a must for any bowler.

Gloves
Kook Kahuna Pro players. Protection and feel.
M&H T1, cheap and good enough.

Thigh pads
White Remfrys
Black Stealth Strettons

Helmets
Albion 98
Albion Elite Pro, very light
There's also an Masuri on it's way to me.

Shoes
Adidas, replacing my SL22 mids, a lot lighter but I'm missing the extra support.
Puma Evos for when I'm feeling fleet of foot.

Match Bag
GN Supanova duffle
Newbery Tour (mainly for storage)

Honourable mentions
M&H Leather bag
Adidas Players duffle
Player issue Albion 98

On their way to me
Adidas Players coffin. Bought for a mate who has since changed his mind. Might interest someone outside the UK.
GM Six6 Academy Original.
Aldred Sovereign Butterfly.
Salix LH softs bought as a bundle along with LH P2 strippers and Masuri Titanium lid. Anyone fancy some cheap LH gear?

Not made the cut
GN Lucky 7 - 2lb9oz on the handle, 2lb12oz in reality. Now modified the handle with medical tape and magnetic tape (on the knob). The pickup and feel is way better.
SafBats Origin - really nice bat but the face is too round for me.
GN Vortex 5 Star - Very nice rebound but too heavy at 2lb 10,5oz , even with the tape modifications.
GM 1885 - again very nice but face is too round for me. Team mate is after this.
H4L LB Hellfire - Spoilt for choice. No reason to be on the left behind list apart from too many bats.
Nike spikes - too big at size 46.
Albion Club - Very nice but too many helmets.

This is what I bought over with me from Australia (have much more gear back there). Purchased the helmet here and only have the arm guard because you never know haha.

First game tomorrow
Probably using last years bat, or may dig my old Affinity toro out and use that, as I've given it a good sand and it's looking lovely.
Plus I've got three h4l Devils that may get a run out at some stage
Gonna look a bit of a tit walking out with loads a bats and swapping every 5 mins tho!

Gloves, I've got some top end slaz which I love and pads are gn lightweight things
Shoes are my old asics

And my trusty Uzi duffle

Sorted

Not sure too much has changed from 2016 but my 2017 year is all set.

Bats are L-R and in order of ranking (and all costing less than £150)
Ton Butterfly 2'8
TK made Slazenher V5 2'7
CA 5000 2'8
Blank Bats Tour shape 2'9
CA 5000 2'7 Match bat

The Ca was a £60 bargain from eBay, on her last legs now but still flies more than the rest. Battle between the Bb and her pretties sister when she does finally give up.

GN Legend pads, got a well used pair for Jake that I like so much I splashed the cash on the new ones in blue.

Newbery SPS 1
Salix Pod Pro

Stratton fox thigh guard set

Ancient non compliant Masuri kid
New balance  4020 trainers
Shock doctor jock and box

Not pictures is a Ton and Red Ink duffles.

Taken me until after my first game to get around to sorting photos. Largely because I've been spending loads of time chasing frisbees nationwide, but we have family staying next weekend so my store room/ brothers old room needs to be emptied!

This is my kit for now, but will likely change as I think my B3 is on the way out and I've trashed my softs a bit.

Bats from left to right:
Icon Signature 2lb10. Bit of a minger but definitely a goer. I love the profile but tend towards a lighter bat still. Body off Baywatch, face off Crimewatch this one.
B3 Shape 19 Bespoke 3 Stripe 2lb8. Absolute goer, but suspect a toe crack has got rapidly bigger up the face and will be terminal in the near future.
GM Flare Original 2lb9. More traditional shape, understatedly quality and a very reliable backup.
Kookaburra Impulse 950 2lb7. More a net bat or slogging bat than anything, held together with considerable amounts of glue in the shoulder, handle, splice and toe.

Pads, Gloves, Keeping kit all Legget and Coe Prophecy. Nice but doesn't seem to be particularly hard wearing. Asics Gel spikes and a Shrey Air Titanium with NekTek finishes off the lot.

@mohawks94 if you're that worried about the crack in the B3 becoming terminal why don't you glue it before it gets to that stage?

It was glued when it had a separate repair after last season, and I've glued it during winter nets when it opened up again. On the profile picture it's the crack on the upper edge on the toe.

I will be re-gluing it today to make sure it lasts a bit longer.

Well I think I've got my match day bag pretty much set for the season now.

Bag
Following a few rave reviews on here, and encouraged by the fact it can hold 3 bats I got myself a Supernova duffle!

Shoes
Spikes - Asics Gel Gully 3
These were in the pro direct end of season sale and I loved the colour.
Worn these in a couple of games now, rubbed a touch first game but comfy enough.
I've done the opposite of most people and replaced the normal laces with quick laces.

Astro - GM Maestro rubbers
Bought at Dummer when I turned up to net without any shoes!
Cheap but incredibly comfy. I removed the GM badges from the side so they match my other gear and swapped the laces out for quick laces.
For the price I am really impressed with these, highly recommended.

Softs/protection
GN legend batting pads.
Top of the range and rightly so, was initially unsure of the twist in these but after a couple of nets you don't notice it.
Not the lightest pads in the world, but protection and comfort is excellent!

GN prestige gloves
Classic look and sausage fingers, excellent protection, need I say more?
Some may find them a bit bulky but I love mine!

Moonwalkr thigh guards
Possibly a bit bright for some, but they go under your whites!
Light, comfy, good protection and a ridiculously good price! A great alternative to the ever popular Aero strippers

Masuri OS2 Titanium & stem guard
More classic look than the VS I had last season.
I find the OS is more comfortable and is lighter than the VSv

Oakley radars
Old faithful Oakley's I've had since 2010.
Think these are the now discontinued G26 lenses which were great for cricket (now overshadowed by the cricket specific Primz)

Match bats
Hunts County Aura 700
2lb10 & 5/8 with 1.5 grips and a scuff sheet. Bought from Jake last season and after knocking in and a few nets it started to ping nicely.

Gray Nicolls GN500
2b11 & 1/8 with 1.5 grips and a scuff sheet. Hand picked for my by Jake again.
Heartwood on the inside edge and nicely balanced. Not the prettiest face but performance more than makes up for that.

For net use/being played in
Hunts County Aura batting gloves
Bought to match my bat, nice and flexible. Good protection & pittard palms

Gray Nicolls Velocity XP1 550 batting gloves.
Bought these as a bit of an impulse buy in Serious Cricket.
I removed the Velocity badges as they weren't central and it was doing my head in!
Very comfortable for sub £30 gloves and ideal for net use.

Forest Storm white bat
2lb10 & 1/2 with 1.5 grips and a scuff sheet. Being borrowed by a teammate who seems to like it.
This is almost a Laver esque profile with plenty of wood in the hitting area.

Hunts County custom
2lb11 dead with 1.5 grips. I have knocked this in and the response when tapping up a ball is rather good.
I need to apply a scuff sheet and get using this now!

Gray Nicolls Sabre
2lb9 & 7/8 with 1.5 grips. Bought from Jake as I have a bit of a soft spot for scoopy Gray Nicolls bats.
Repaired a crack on the edge it got after one use (should have used the middle). Need to apply a new scuff sheet and get using it again!

Rather worryingly I still have plenty of decent willow waiting to be used that isn't included in this lot.
It's a nice problem to have but I may need to have a clear out at some stage... :-[

Mines nearly complete once pads and gloves arrive next week, bat going well and finally found the middle of it at the weekend a few times. Still searching for the perfect duffle that has capacity and pockets to suit my needs.

Have you used that XP80? If so, how does it play?

xp80 will start as my match bat, have used in 5 nets sessions, absolutly love it, probably the most pingiest bat iv ever had.. i was surprised how good the ping is lower on the bat considering how high the middle is
will start using the b3 once its played in
