If either of them showed something that could be worked on, then yes harsh! But I'm not sure either of them did.

Out if there depth springs to mind.


Be interesting to see what happened if the 3/4 newbies have a similar test. Dropped or given more chances?

Can't  believe Maddinson was picked ahead of Patterson , Lehmann , Head , Cowan , Bancroft , etc . I hate S.Marsh but would prefer him back when fit . Maddinson has the mental toughness of a fat kid in a candy store and is an almost compulsive hooker . I don't rate his consistency.  Handscomb and Renshaw .... fair enough . I hate to say it , since it shows where oz is at , but Wade for Nevill was the right move . But what happens when we tour india ?...his gloves will spontaneously combust . Sam Whiteman is the future . He's making some runs too a.t.m . Hopefully he makes some more and forces Wade's iron gloves out of the side .

So was I. I expected there to be loads of them on YouTube. That was the only video I could find of him dropping a catch.
