Hi All,
I play for Middleton C.C. in North Manchester and we’re looking to recruit new players for the coming season. The ground is located 5 minutes from We have one of the best grounds in either division and arguably have the best track as well. We held the LCB Cup final last year and we regularly host Lancashire representative games.
We have 3 senior teams. The 1sts and 2nds play most Saturdays and the 3rds playing most of their games on Sundays.
We play in the Pennine Cricket League (a merger of the Central Lancashire and the Saddleworth Cricket Leagues) and were relegated last year. The aim this year is to get promoted back into the Premiership.
To do this, we feel we need a few additional players, mainly a front line spinner.
If anyone fancies a new challenge, or to start playing again, our pre-season nets start on the 12th February at 12noon until 2pm at the Middleton Arena.
Just thought I'd jump on the bandwagon that seems to be rolling, but let me know if anyone would like any further details.
