I do like the look of the preadator so might justinvest this month in one of them. I'm deffo going to go the custom route

I got a Hunts G1+ made to the same specs as my match bat, couldnt be happier, picks up better than my match bat and responds really really well! hard to pick one over the other! only paid �225!

@Cublingtoncc - If you are interested in GM, then i would suggest GM Chrome Original cricket bat. Its basically a mesh of GM Octane and GM Mogul. Standard blade length with big edges and curved face. I personally have used both Octane and Mogul, at times i had wished for a fusion of these two .. guess someone at GM heard my thoughts !

Had a GM Octane Original and it was the best around - just keeping my options open for now.

Whats peoples opinions on either of them ??

I am really impressed by the GM bats for 2017. The pressing seems to have improved. I have seen 4 GM 2017 bats so far and all pinged beautifully. You can go for GN if you need the halestorm or kookaburra Xtreme in case you are looking 3lb full profile beast.

I want a bat made to the specs of joe root - wish he was still with GM!!!

B3 can do this.

I suspect (but do not know) that a �225 Hunts custom would be as good, or better, than any of the big brand's �500 offerings.

But the crown not being to your specs.....hunts custom all the way!

It is 'rumoured' that they have links with NB and make bats for some of their sponsored pros - although it is not thought that Root is one of them.

They can make a bat with Root's profile, even if thet don't make Root's bat.
