Tbf, sponsorship is quite amusing. Genuinely decent adults who potentially influence people st their club are ignored and a few kids who will never be much cop or some lads who attend some coahcing courses and babysit 'county' kids are giving cheaper kit..

I must get 40 to 50 a day pre season I out lay my criteria for Sponsorship and guess what not one acceptance.
After each season any sponsored players staying on with  B&S either return their kit to me and I send it to a Phil Tufnell run charity for disadvantaged kids playing the Sport or I let my sponsored players donate the kit to a youngster of their choice who plays at their club but you are right most of the people doing all the work behind the scene do go un rewarded

I had someone ask for Focus sponsorship last year who's stats i found on play-cricket, he had averaged 3 (yes, three) in a division 6 leagues below ECB prem, i let him know what i thought about his request for FREE kit lol.

My funniest so far is a request was sent for Sponsorship he did tell me that a certain Brand  currently gave him 75 % Discount but felt he needed a change I duly suggested that with such a good Discount don't even think about leaving and good luck for the forth coming season . His response your kit looks (No Swearing Please) I wouldn't want it anyway

It's a guy called David toft that's running it with a mate. He plays first team for thexample same club as me. Good block and a quality cricketer.
