Thanks a lot everyone I had a thoroughly enjoyable morning! Not enough time to have a good net and look through all of the quality willow on display properly though - next time we should make it 2 hours nets and 2 hours bat talk over a pint!

Thanks very much for sorting @edge and 'I haven't payed for years but bowl nippy outswingers on the spot and middle everything' @DorsetDan, that's a great setup at Warminster.

James has certainly a eye for it his match bat was brilliant I thought

Thanks for the kind words @procricket, much appreciated. Would love to have a bowl at you next time too ;)

Well, I've completed my net day - 5 hours over 3 nets, god I'm stiff! Sitting on an icepack with a cold beer - always watch the net when you're at the non strikers end kids 🙈 Absolutely flew by this morning, look forward to the next one!

Finally got round to uploading the images I took on Saturday's net. They're not amazing quality as the lighting wasn't great at the end of the nets and I've got an older iPhone but it should give you a bit of a clue about the setup and bats on show.

@edge and @Gurujames comparing sizes ;)

@neoncricket about to bowl to @spoonbed

@mcgill123 feeding 'Haven't played in donkey's years' @DorsetDan on the machine

@Gurujames, @edge, @neoncricket and @procricket

Some of @procricket's arsenal - some serious sticks amongst them!

@neoncricket bowling so quick everything blurred trying to keep up ;)

@neoncricket bowling so quick everything blurred trying to keep up ;)

@edge, @Gurujames and @t2ylo

Some more great bats just hanging around waiting to be picked up and smelt ;)

@t2ylo getting the ball back from @spoonbed - no doubt having just been carted to the rope again!

Packing up time :(

The usual suspects - @DorsetDan - @spoonbed - @t2ylo - @jamesisapayne (looking like I have way less hair than normal, honest) - @Gurujames - @mcgill123 - @edge - @neoncricket with @procricket on camera duties.

A great time was had by all, and everyone certainly knows which end of a bat to hold and how to bowl straight that's for sure - next time we'll have to get some evidence on video to prove it!

What focus mode did you have the camera on for the group shot Dave, stump cam?
