I gave it a buff Mark, but then Simon found the buffing wheel rather therapeutic and gave it its final polish of which I must say he did a very good job. Matt did all the sanding though

I have been busy all weekend but I think I should provide an update in the form of some photos!
So here goes....

I had chosen this cleft a few months previously when it was just a raw cleft.
Matt knew I was visiting on Friday so handled the cleft and we chatted about the shape and profile once I got there. As the bat progressed, Matt checked with me at every step to ensure that I liked what he was doing with it. I had full input at every stage and it was nice to see the bat progressing!!

So here are a few progress pics guys....
Some initial shaping

Some sanding....




A little handle shaping and tidy...



After sanding and tidy, a check on how it's looking....mmmmm!






Better check how the grains are through the toe....


And profile check.....




Now stringing the handle...




Weight naked....


Next comes a bit of knocking in...



And lastly the weight with stickers, grips, scuff sheet and ready for some light nets and throw downs!


I will get the camera out this week and get some nice finished photos too!
