Currently in a lot of pain one of the Worcester academy guys hit my face guard with a quick ball sending it upwards into my nose  instead of going to Hospital spent a couple of hours treaing it in our dressing room not the most sterile environment for an open wound now have a painful infection throughout my body currently  on 20000 mg antibiotics a day to go with a painful broken nose feel awful.

Thanks for the kind thoughts
The helmet was a Gray Nics with a double bar Masuri grill i went for the hook without getting inside the line of the ball its a shot i thought i had perfected from what I am told The ball hit the grill under the nose and although the chin rest was only slightly loose  the speed and bounce of the ball  pushed the helmet and grill upwards and the stainless steel grill  top bar cut into the bridge of the nose.

Edged two in-swingers to my left foot this season. Both hit my on the arch (inside) of the left foot. Hurts like hell. I applied ice and ibuprofin to ease the pain. Somebody really needs to invent a foot protector for batsmen to cover/protect the arch/side, top, and toes of the front foot!

Ulna tendinitis in my elbow/tennis or golfers elbow. On and off issue for the last two or three years, means I can't throw with as much power when it goes wrong. I put it down to a combination of boundary riding, frisbee and working as a cleaner during my summer holidays!

Remember someone else had posted about 20somethings not being meant to get tennis elbow: I'm 23 and have tennis elbow!
