Don't see why not depends how big ur calf muscles are I guess. Will look at what everyone has asked for tomorrow when I'm on the PC as on the iPhone still at the moment!

Cool you could just use footy shinpads to protect the side?

im sure you could but how frequently do you get hit there? is it worth wearing a shin pad in case you do? plus you would have to turn the shin pad sideways which would inhibit your running i would think.

Would have the plastic disk bits to protect your pronoucing bone of the ankle i guess prob better than a whole shin pad and would be more discreet and lead to less abuse for wearing them i would think lol

It isn't the ankle that is in the firing line it is about 2 inches up, bottom of the calve

Shin pads would be too bulky. My calves are quite slender! I may buy one from you and if it doesn't work out good for my leg then I can put it on my fore arm.

I have been hit there 5 times in the last 2 nets due to lack of bounce

Sweatbands arrived today...people who wanted unpadded I can post out once you have paid. Padded ones will be later on in the week if not next week as awaiting the delivery of the foam to insert.
