Likely to be against the CBF grain, but I really don't like those

Preferred the first versions that were floating around to be honest!

Speaking to someone close to Tim on FB these aren't the final version as they are awaiting the fully finished Matte/gloss/embossed/textured version I'd imagine.

Sam just wanted something to go on his bats for the Dubai tournament.

Is it just me or do the tops of those stickers make the bats look like they're wearing little shirts? And I hope he doesn't fall for the 'more is more' trend and ply the stickers with every texture/colour/finish under the sun.

slight off topic I know but Sam N has got to have been close to an England call. Prodigy in teenage years maybe will be a late developer and still achieve his potential.

Technically sound and is playing a lot better for Kent these days

Bats must perform great as can be expected from a TK but the stickers look horrible to me..the WORX branding doesnt seem easy to say either..

Those stickers are genuinely bad. They look like a forum'ites attempt on Microsoft paint. Only saving grace are that the bats look decent.

I hope the service improves. I used to buy from Newbery and didn't especially like dealing with them, and always found them overpriced (£60 for re handle?). Also, my understanding was that he was the first to use a CNC machine in the UK (bought at low cost from Slaz when they decided they didn't want to make in the UK) - is this still going to be the case? He was just finishing the bats as far as I was aware...

Also, if Northeast gets an England T20 gig (seems the most likely format, maybe ODI) odds on him taking some cash from a big boy? Got to be pretty high given he previously went with Slaz (who were at one point renowned for giving cash out to mid-level pro players) and you'd be able to get a decent amount at International level - I wouldn't blame him!

Newbery couldn't have been the first to use the CNC machine if they bought it from Slazenger?

I was led to believe Slazenger ordered the thing, and it was being made up when they pulled the pin and decided to shift all manufacturing elsewhere (i.e., they never used it). This meant that Keeley/Newbery were able to buy it at a super knock down price. My understanding was they used it to shape all their bats, some of which were then possibly finished by hand.
