not sure how many have tickets for this tournament but out of the blue I have 2 India matches in London and tickets for the final....

which we all want England to be in right ?  :)

It should be. England England at home in English conditions   are a good  team they
Can beat anyone but only if they get the bowling right for the conditions

I've heard ICC decide the pitches - not expecting any green tops.

Just a thought for the upcoming Ireland series, with Billings playing every IPL game for Delhi so far would we be better off just leaving him our there with the few others that are staying given we've got Bairstow who can take Buttlers spot for the 2 games anyway?

do you really think England will recall Anderson for one day cricket as a one off?  I cant see England doing that, his record in one dayers is not great regardless of anything else

I would have a good guess pitches will be a flat and dry as they can possibly prepare in our conditions.

but as for recall Jimmy, yes he is class at home in tests but I can't see it.

plunkett, wood, moeen, stokes, woakes - they look certainties. I like Jake Ball myself as well. he's tall gets bounce, and he's def had pace. Watched him bowl at Lords last year-it certainly comes thru quick(ish)

Not Anderson (unless the conspiracy theory that Von Strauss has already decreed that he will not tour Australia is true)...bit maybe Broad...

You'd figure:

Hales
Roy
Root
Morgan
Buttler
Stokes
Bairstow
Ali
Woakes
Rashid
Plunkett
Wood
Willey
Another Seamer
A Batsman

The seamer, I reckon two comes from Finn, Broad and Curran of the Tom variety.  The batsman you'd guess Billings.

Agree Carlo Jimmy will be overlooked as they want to manage him solely for tests but in the UK in this competition he should play he's still the best at what he does in Uk conditions  he's a proven match winner.
