I think this is definitely a Pakistan team that is in the rebuilding phase. Its good to see that they are looking a lot better in the field since the India game. I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled it out the bag vs England tbh.

If there was money to be made, I am sure NZ made a lot more in the BD game ;)

Good decision if you ask me.

Roy has just looked shot! He's had so many chances and you can't carry somebody in a semi/final.

Yep, a good and brave decision from england
Roy will be part of it in future, but for now we have to play our strongest team

He's out of form and god knows has my sympathy.it happens to all clubbie and pros alike.

Maybe they just thought it is better for Roy not to net because he may do better not practicing  :( :( :o :o

I will believe it when i hear it from Morgan/Bayliss or see the teamsheet!

Who makes Jason Roy's bats? There is a video of him in the nets with a GoPro and his bats sound nice.

I guess choking in big tournaments doesn't stop even if you move to another country..?

I actually really like watching him bat (especially his net videos) .. hope he bounces back strong.

Morgan loses yet another toss and we've been put in to bat. 300+ will be a real test of Pakistans mercurial batting line up.

YJB in for Roy.

Bairstow got a bit of luck that roy probably didn't have.

Agreed!

On the plus side, we've faced two overs without losing a wicket, that has to be a first for England in this tournament surely?
