Having watch the match England  left handed batsman were done by a round  wicket bowler pushing the ball across them then swinging  away late for me a game changer.

Yes, lets give credit where it is due here - Pakistan picked the right attack, admitted by having its hand forced - clever one day specialists who bowled to good plans.

Well said a few comments above , credit to Pakistan, we probably peaked too soon

I have tickets for the final but not now England are not there, having watched two India games in a fantastic atmosphere it's been an experience to treasure

Sad we didn't make it but that's sport .
Well done pak hope they give India a good game in the final. Presuming it is India of course  :)

I think its a bit of everything really but mainly a very good bowling performance from Pakistan. I would add that i thought we bowled far too short on a very slow pitch.

Yes ...the way we play now we are suited to quicker pitches. You cannot have a new strip for every game but our aggressive game does not suit a slow pitch. Had we played at the oval we might of won.

But no excuses, you have to play or whatever pitch type it is.

I hope for one we continue he playing attractive cricket, we cannot go back to the last World Cup, and I don't think we will.

We try to hit 400....I guess when the pitch dictates that's not possible the question is can we adjust to win a trophy..

I think it has to do with mindset as well. England played well on slower and lower surfaces during India ODI not too long back.
I guess the knockout pressure was too much? Aamir didnt play which should have made it bit easier.

Nice tweet from B3 the other day... :)

"When you see one of your bats smash it around in #iccchampionstrophy2017 and it doesn't have your stickers on it's a bit of a fakhar"

It is a clever pun...fakhar means pride in Urdu.   :D

And, well imagine my disappointment that the new opener is using their bat.  :D

The way England have been playing has been outstanding. When you have the positive approach even when your backs against the wall you are going to fail at times. Probably not the best time for a failure but I think you guys can be confident that your team is doing pretty well. You can't love your team when they are crushing 300+ scores and then hack them when it doesn't come off (Thats what us Kiwi's do, with the All Blacks). You have a very good team there.

Can't be Fakhar, he uses a CA. Wouldn't make any sense for him to get a b3 and sticker it up as a CA, specially given that the supposedly snickered up CA looks the exact same profile as a CA 15000.

Impressive win by Pakistan. Unfortunately for ENG, their bad day came in a knockout.

It would be great if PAK can go all the way considering the problems they've had.

Bit of a shame to see morgan complain about the pitch. He is one of my favorite players, and he has turned eng into the most exciting odi team around, but this was a little bit lame... there really isn't much of an excuse when a notoriously fragile batting lineup  (from the 8th rank team!) absolutely smashes your gun bowlers.

Also, maybe this is controversial, but surely Broad and Anderson would have been MUCH more difficult for pak to face yesterday?

Decent start from bangladesh, quite a bit of firepower to come.
