Did anyone else catch how Manoj Tiwari broke his bat? It broken right in the middle of the blade.

Looked to me to be just below the splice, handle too tight likely cause as well as hitting the ground and ball at the same time

They said on comms it was likely to be weakend by the handle being pushed in too far causing cracks

Its due to over drying. Not a problem for the pro's who just get another out of their bag but for amateurs less than ideal
