Are they based in Swindon?
I'm going to have a drive over to Boundary Sports in Birmingham today, see what they've got in stock. Never been before but it looks like they stock a good mix of different bats.

Yeah, bit of a drive, but they have a selection of bats at every price point, that are all super pingers
Asads uzi bats and his h4l bats are up there with the best bats I've seen.

But,,,you need at least half a day,to even scratch the surface of what's there

There's Asad's Birmingham shop too?

UZI are not involved with the shop anymore near to Edgbaston in Birmingham. I believe the net facility that it's connected to will be opening their own shop soon (albeit, it looked like a lot of cheap KW SM bats when I visited about a month ago)

Anybody got a name or address for this other Birmingham shop?
I may try and pop in after I've been to Boundary.

Thanks for letting me know. Not sure what to expect from Boundary but we'll see.

B3 mate, their pressing is exceptional.... great customer service as well

We are based in Nottingham (just off the M1) so only about an hour away I guess.

Come and have a look at our factory, maybe have a net - and see what you think - no hard pushy salesmen either - we will even pop the kettle on!

Sounds good to me. I've had a look at your website and the bags look great.
I'll be in touch soon if I don't find anything today.

So I've come back from Boundary with this. It's two 2lbs 9, great pickup.
As a bit of a bat buying novice those were my main concerns when looking at the range available.
Paid £135 which included a second grip, oiling and a face applied.
Have I got value for my money here?

That seems a decent choice to me and a good price too. If it suits you then you are more likely to score rums with it. Good luck and enjoy your cricket.

Looks great, like guru said the most important thing is that your happy with it and it feels good in the hands. Hunts have a good reputation so chances are the bat will be fine. Happy runs scoring!
