Seeing lot of players using DSC branded cricket bats.

Yes I think they are the same guys who made those Canadian willow ones. I played with 2 DSC bats few years back which had a face sheet/fish cover/oil cover type something on. The willow was not visible so I guess it must be lower grade but the bat definitely performed.

plenty in the IPL using them...but is it an actual manufacturer or a sponsor/manufacturer like MRF/Ceat/Honda Hero???

was tempted by this just the important willow put me off but I guess English willow is imported..

That seems correct as they have so many players sponsored in this IPL. Their pro edition bat seems to be 500 USD plus, that will be on lines of new balance prices.

Hard to believe they are spending all this money on player sponsorship and then have the bats made with canadian willow. The FB post is from 2015. May be they started with that but if you see latest FB page things look different.

I am not saying all of their bats are  Canadian Willow but the one received by Dave that model I believe is the Canadian Willow one. The one I played with several years ago was English willow. They have been around for more than a decade I guess.

cool candidian williow I have just taken the scuff off and sanded same smell as English Williow mind.....

Must be either very light or over dry but doesn't feel it.
