What bat is Hales using?
Stickers aren't the normal Halestorm

From the highlights today, when Hales got out I'm almost 90% certain the sticker on the top of the handle was the same as the one on Chalkie's Aussie made XP80

Just annoyed that Ireland didnt opt to do the same here in Bristol so we got to see a game rather than half of one.

Looks like the new Aussie market Predator stickers
https://gray-nicolls.com.au/products/predator3-senior-english-willow-bat

He started using them while in Melbourne playing grade cricket over the winter, there are videos of some of the games on youtube

Woakes  will be first choice good team man and all that but needs to be looking over his shoulder also
Woods a decent lower order bat.

sterling showed yesterday(how good is this bloke?) pace onto the bat on good tracks can up the scoring rate

but if your thinking Wood could clean out the tail or lower order batsmen although pretty much everyone bats these days yes totally agree.

its great to see him back and bowling quick. I suspect England will want him at the death as well as a few upfront

Given how Root has bowled, and with Stokes returning from the IPL, is there anyone else out there that thinks we could play Bairstow as a specialist 7 (in the same way the Aussies used to with Mike Hussey) and have Stokes and Root as the 5th & 6th Bowler?

Probably leaving out Ali would be the obvious choice? Bairstow is just in irresistible form at the moment.

Yes...hard as it is to fit 11 in I would do exactly that and let Root bowl a bit-he can do the same or better job than Ali

only thing is Butler really has got to play-he is so destructive

so.....Bairstow in for Ali. I suppose Billings has to make way for Jos....which is a shame because he can change a game

but we are talking about the very very best players to win the tournament

Bairstow is just superb, one day or Test match he is one of the best batters in the Country

IMHO  :)

Think we're looking at Woakes, Wood, Stokes and Plunkett/Willey as the 4 pacers.
