Saw a couple of interesting sticks being used today

A grainy Salix pod
An old Duncan Fernley polycoat (still pinged well)
An IJC Newbery Platinum

2 x CF bats on display for Three Bridges at the weekend.

Their skip pushed a straight drive off our spinner for six! It hardly made a noise and I was getting a tad worried, but  he was caught a few balls later.

Overseas yesterday had a really nice Ozzie Focus that certainly went when he got hold of it.

Also a plethora of @Red Ink Cricket bats as it was against his old side. The one their opener had was particularly nice!

Saw a lad in M&H softs tonight (green & yellow logo) who also had a Salix bat.

Also saw a "pro" Kookaburra Onyx. Nice shape compared to the off the shelf version but nothing that special.

Nothing else really caught my attention apart from one of our lads using a Hawk that makes a lovely noise

Opposition opener had one of the silly W shape M&Hs at the weekend. Got his use out of the 50mm edges to be fair, they got him his only run.

Opposition batsmen was using a chunky Warsop (unsure of model but front sticker had a huge killer whale on it) which sounded amazing and went like a train.

One of the opposition was using full Adidas gear today, a presumably low end Libro bat (it had a butterfly stain) and some blue colour way softs. It looked really smart.

I think about 4 of their guys were using BT Blades bats.

Our side was a pretty mixed bag today:
M&H FKW, (MH16 bat & gloves with T2 pads)
Chase FLC (FKW)
GN PowerBow circa 2013
New Balance DC580
Newbery Uzi 5*
Readers (no idea of model, but it looks cheap...)
Kookaburra Ghost
Kookaburra CCX
Chase FLC

An H4L Hellfire Monster was the only bat of note in the oppo ranks on Saturday. Seemed lovely, but at 3lb + you'd hope it would go!
