At the moment our captain has said that he needs to bat first unless it's a complete minefield. If he didn't a lot of our games would be finished by around 3pm despite a 1:30 pm start.

In our league it's more structured to bowling first. And then if you are batting in the second innings you can pick up points for getting 1/4 and 2/3's of the oppo's score.

If youre playing in the Champions Trophy its win the toss and 'who cares , it's gonna rain anyway' !  ;) ;)
