I tend to do a lap of the ground (if it isn't too big) then I do about 5 minutes of stretching, mainly legs and back. I then join the rest of my team for some football and fielding drills. If we bowl second I will usually do the run and stretch again before we go out to field. If we are batting second I try to keep my hamstrings, quads and groin loose as they tend to tighten up quickly, I don't want to pull anything on a quick single.
Does anyone play another organised sport which they don't warm up for?
