Purely an aesthetic thing. They've had no issues with stopping yorkers. (And I don't agree!!!)

How does your 1500 compare to 2000 performance wise? Have you used both in matches?

I've not had a chance to use the 2000 yet. It still needs knocking in, so that report will have to wait a bit.

Is there much difference in specs, the 1500 looks like it has slightly bigger edges but smaller spine?

I hadn't noticed any differences until I took the pictures. It appears that way, but as far as I am aware, they are both made to the same specs. Individualities of the bats I guess, given they are made by human hands!
