Finally got around to digging my mallet out to test the response of the XXX. Very impressed, it responds very nicely 2 inches off the toe to an inch and a half below the stickers. The pressing is really good

Good to hear my one should be here very soon and I found a velocity players choice in 2.9 as well to go with it

Custom is the safer (but presumably more expensive) route I reckon.

I done the same with a velocity players choice with a long Handel instead of the ssh feel it was the best way to get what I wanted especially after doing a great job on my custom atomic black

Price was the same as what was on the website I’m sure

All county bats in oz are made by gn ....even going back to when Warney used county his bats were made by Stu.
I still dont like the A stamp on the blue indian made atomic....even if its not an aussie made indicator .
@DorsetDan you need to bare in mind that most of the good stock (within the popular brands) is gone by this time of the season....so sometimes , at this time of year , less popular brands will have better sticks on the shelf .
Nice detective work /comparison on the atomics btw.

A teammate just bought a $300 steeden bat from gccc....its a great bat , well balanced and pings. I think they are a good , under the radar, budget choice for a quality stick.

A stamp means the bat conforms to international law , & is done by hand when stickered up , the batmakers at the GN factory in india have been trained by the best , @JB & @simonmay5 your bats have been completed & given the STU treatment , very special indeed & yes simon 2018 decals as well , enjoy the best from the best , no excuses now gentlemen

I wanted to make sure I got another one of the Big Aus GN's, with the restrictions now in place for the Pro's it might be the last of them.

I did notice they'd sold out of the players grade XXX. It looks like you'd played a large part in that Simon.
