Unless you planning to turn Proffesional in October Chad none of those Bats are illegitimate enjoy them for another 10 Years
But I guess because of this restriction there will be less supply of big bats in future.
Why? They're going to become illegal for use in the professional game. There's nothing to say bat makers have to stop making them, or that clubbies can't carry on using them. I can't see the cricket police coming after anyone who makes a bat with 41mm edges and a 61mm spine. All the while there's demand, there will be supply.
My opinion only but I think it will be silly of the manufacturers too stop or even reduce the making of big bats 95% of there Market is from the Paying Public that don't have these restrictions imposed on them they have always sold well so why stop again just my thoughts
Is it possible willow merchants will use the 40mm law as an excuse to reduce cleft size?
What I heard from Mueleman is that GN-AUS and SK will not produce any more big bats after the remaining clefts are used.
