Looks like junk, blatant copy of Grove bats in terms of the G.

They do look a little similar, but I doubt they're a copy - noone in the UK has ever heard of Grove!

It's all harmless fun, but you should know that we've seen plenty of brands pop up on here under different alias' - I apologise if you're not actually the owner, but the coincidence is there!

TBH you can quite easily tell the manufacturer from just looking at the kit - and it's a manufacturer many of us have dealt with before. So they can give some feedback there.

As for my thoughts on the brand.

Negatives:
The stickers are boring, with none of the embossing or spot varnish which make a product look premium. As mentioned they're pretty poor rip-offs of the Grove/New Balance style. The website again needs lots of work like the stickers with a stupid hamburger menu, which adds nothing but an additional click. Not a fan of the off-yellow colour, which I don't think is again particularly classy nor is it vibrant. The store is also breaking the law also by not providing a full address and business name (FB makes references to directors, so what's the LTD company name?). They also don't provide a T's & C's. Worrying...

Positives:
The pads and gloves I actually like the look of. And if they are from Mohit the quality will be decent and order sizes reasonable. Pads are reasonably priced too, gloves seem on the pricey side.

In short,  I think it looks pretty crap and needs work.

Can't really comment on the softs until they have them made up, but the bat stickers look pretty ropey (also the descriptions mention the ubiquitous 'our head batmaker' in the UK, yest the photos are clearly of some Indian made bats).

I'd also suggest the name isn't very google friendly.

People are (mostly) only trying to help. you'd get charged for advice from industry experts in most lines of business.

There are so many of these stickering brands nowadays online that sadly appearance often matters more than quality. With a sticker refresh and change of website template, along with a bit more info they would be able to compete in the space a little better. I appreciate however, that for most brands they make their sales locally to friends/local clubs so it's not always worth the investment.

Not being funny but why ask for peoples thoughts if you have already purchased the gear?

Ollie, Tom ran Mongoose. Tom knows a hell of a lot more about the industry than virtually all of the users on here (myself included!). He's a man worth listening too!

And FYI, no jealously or bitterness from me. Largely as I wouldn't consider them a competitor... looking forward to seeing your review of their gears when it arrives!

Ollie it may come across cynical to new members but for those of us that have been on a while we have seen people whose first few posts are about a new brand and then turn out to be affiliated with said brands probably 30-40 times in previous years so older members are very sceptical with good reason

What made you go for these guys rather than anyone else then?

From a personal point of view bats look generic and so do pads and gloves so I would like to meet or talk with the maker to see what sets them apart before I purchased anything but we are all different

Apart from the website I can't find these guys anywhere on the internet. They probably want to work on their presence.

Would be interested to see some more pictures of the softs though, to see what sets them apart from OLS to warrant the premium. Not fussed about the bats, without wishing to sound mean, the stickers look cheap and the grading is suspect.

But, a place to get unbranded softs in the U.K. with decent customer service would be useful!

Can't wait for the review on the products and service though. Plain softs are always a tempter for me. As @GoodLeave says a decent UK seller would be excellent!
