Great to see some innovation from a big brand. I imagine some of these tweaks will make their way onto other big brands equipment, just like the Kahuna knee cutout did many years ago.

Also, they've just released an image of the new 'PRO TOUR' bag, nice to see Kooka moving away from lime green on their top bag (assuming 'TOUR' means top end?) to electric blue with "heavy duty tarpaulin, denim cotton" material

Having seen IJC review of the 2018 kahuna, realized that the kahuna and all the 2018 kooka ranges now have a proper round face.
Personally, I loved the flat face of the kahuna (that was really the main attraction for me regards the kahuna) and the other kooka range, so was disappointing for me. What do you guys think of the change?

This is coming from my own personal views (being apart of Team Kookaburra doesn't come into it) but I personally like the 2018 range and the changes to the profiles/faces. When I was picking my kit up around 6 weeks ago I was talking to the staff up there and they explained the changes were to optimise the size of the bats whilst also making sure they are in line with the new bat laws being introduced. I must admit my Kahuna is a 2' 9 3/4 and it still picks up very well, the edges are still quite big (I'm lucky that the one I picked had quite full profile for a Kahuna as well) and it definitely pings. I looked at over 10 bats that day in the 2' 9 weight range alone and must say they are definitely an improvement from 2017 and I thought they were very good bats.

Definitely a winner, remember when Kookaburra used to churn out amazing bats like noone else and they all had round faces and big oval handles? Those were the days.

Just the other day, was looking at the Kook  Aus range in https://www.meulemans.com.au/product-category/cricket-bats/kookaburra-1617/

At the bottom of the page, it says "One of the biggest selling points of these beautiful bats is that each and every one is handmade here in Australia by expert craftsmen..."

Always thought kook bats are made in India and by SG. Anyone can throw light on the above regarding Aus made for Aus ranges..
