I am chuffed with Ryan Higgins at Gloucester. Hope he makes a hundred against Middlesex in the CC next year.

Quite happy with that to be honest. Can't really replace anyone of Sanga's calibre, so to have another bowler in what was predominantly abject last year can only be a good thing. Big plus that he should be available for most of the season as well, and some added 50/20 over experience to boot.

Looks an even better signing now, as I see Jack Taylor's been banned from bowling. Again.

Not a transfer as such but Aussie bowler Nathan Rimmington has signed for Durham on an English passport. Bowling has often been something we haven't lacked up here but having an experienced bowler to guide the young lads is no bad thing (strange saying that after letting Onions go but hey ho)

The biggest signing this year is by far the re-signing of Moeen by Worcs - great to see some loyalty in the game!

Chris Nash might struggle a bit at mid thirties, shame to leave Sussex after all these years. On the subject of Sussex, my second favourite county having played for Arundel cc for a year(batting  paradise got some runs!!) what do Sussex fans think of Chris Adams possible return as head coach?. He always seems to be touting for the job....and there's now a vacancy.

I'd be surprised if Nash doesn't have another two years somewhere. He'd be a good signing.

Press release said "he wishes to take his career in another direction". That could mean he is leaving the game, but I don't think so.

As a Worcester fan i'm delighted by this and you are correc the loyalty is great to see however I don't think the signing on any England play can seen as big these day as they are so rarely released to play for their counties.

Which is why i thought it was quite odd that other counties were heavily interested in Moeen, he would hardly have played for them
