It's interesting who would actually sign him, because i don't see when he would actually play a game for you anyway! If Rashid nails down a place in the England side and therefore needs a red ball contract etc.... he will be playing all 3 formats, below are the England fixtures for 2019.

Whole of May - ODI's vs Ireland and Pakistan
World Cup straight after till Mid July
Ireland Test 25th July
Ashes 1st August - September 16th

This season there were 2 CC games in April and the final game starts 24th September

Probably a good move for him given how alarmingly he has dropped off in the last 18 months

And since Durham, post obliteration, lost a shed load of good players it's a good move for them also.

He's been stuck in a horrific rut for the last two years - might have been due to being overlooked for the captaincy when Gale retired.  Its a move that suits all parties involved.

Shame to see him go because he's had some brilliant moments for Yorks but his average the past couple of seasons has been terrible.

Good move for Durham, especially in their current situation.

Be interested to see who Yorks bring in - they need to sign somebody.

Batting wise, probably not so much - it'd be a nice to have rather than a must have.  A spinner and a quick are the must haves.

Yorks are favourite to sign Ben Duckett so I guess he will replace Lees opening the batting.

I don’t think Lees has actually been playing has he?

I don't think he's played much this season but he's had poor form.

If Brooks goes to Somerset we'll be in real trouble.

Lees has played when we've had injuries, but has done nowt.  At this point, he's behind not only our first choice line up - Lyth, Brook, Root, Williamson, YJB, Ballance - but also Leaning, TKC, Tattersall and possibly even a couple more.

Brooks is a tricky one - he hasn't always been consistent the last 18 months, but he is occasionally a dangerous strike bowler and takes some of the burden off Ben Coad.  We still have Patterson, Bresnan, Fisher, Willey, Thompson, Shaw and Warner mind.

Biggest issue is the lack of a spinner.  Its no shock that the two years we won the Championship we had top results from Rashid and Middlebrook.

I heard a rumour around the time when Plunkett signed for Surrey that Yorkshire were interested in signing Matt Pillans

You should sign Monty then - he's written to every county. I'm sure he'd fit right in at your place.

There are a lot of rumours around the club at the moment.  Pillans, Poysden, Duckett, about half the Worcestershire team...
