Same here, confident with most shots except the pull - I'm better at it left-handed!

So far at nets it's been a mixed bag for me lol. Batting's been good 2/3 weeks and bowling has been abysmal when bowling leggies, not too bad seam up. Drives are definately my strongest shot lol

I rarely leave it for an opener, it's 40 overs and I tend to play a shot a ball (that's my aim). Don't often get caught but I only really leave it if 1. they're too quick or 2. it calls for a test match situation

I have had a pretty bad pre-season so far. Cant really have a convincing net session just yet, I seem to be picking up bad habbits, and today, the shoulder of the bat broke off, so not a brilliant pre-season as yet!

Yeah I find playing with a tennis ball in the back garden you can pick up some bad habit, but with the bounce I can play cut shots to perfection lol

i have beasted it big time maybe average around 40 overs a day as a non natural and trained player i have felt in very good touch ready to hit the season running.
i find it made it takes only a few deliverys to get in a bad habit but like i said 1200 deliverys to get it right

my nets have been cut down from 3 times a week. to twice one week and once the other week. That is on with club, just a general net. And the other is with the academy, doing 1:1 sessions.
Did my video analysis last weekend and will have that uploaded when I get it back.
12 front foot batting. 12 back foot batting and 9 bowling (3 from back, 3 from side, 3 from front)

Yeah same principle with takes ages to build something and seconds to shatter it. I try an practice as much as I can whenever it's dry during the winter, just always want to improve lol - unhealthy obsession

on my keeping i have made a few new drills up this season.
one called the coffin block put the coffin on leg stump stood upright then fire the ball down leg stump.
the other is to stand on the opposite of the batsman hand ie right hander stand leg side and move to the ball from there in delivery
