IMO , a thinner handles makes the balance worse as the bat is surely more bottom heavy?

I think the chunky semi-oval GM handles were fantastic!
Yeah that is what I was meaning my GMs one is 2.9 and one 2.11 got much better pick up than 2.9 GN. My de kock player addition seems to have an extra thick handle must be something he requests.

I definitely prefer thicker handles - my Hunts has a decent one too.

Yep, De Kock player edition GM has a thicker handle than the Chrome LEs. I believe that thicker handles are better suited to bottom handed players, while the GN Aussie handles almost always twist in the hand if you're using more bottom hand(at least in my case) even with 2 grips.

Can confirm after my visit to Kookaburra yesterday that the Kahuna Pros this year are absolutely gun and ping. Tapped up five weighing 2' 9 they were all phenomenal. Saw a few Blaze Pros too, they were also very good but the Kahuna was the stand out

Like many fellow forumers I’ve had to wait for the wife to be out to post my kit. Otherwise even more of it would have to go on Ebay.

I’ve got a soft spot for Indian made bats hence the MRF & BAS
After trying loads of pads, unbranded OLS are great quality and don’t trouble my FKW OCD
Gloves L-R Woodstock, Phantom & RS - I like plain as possible.
Like GN shoes their 10.5 is perfect fit for me (spikes to field & pimples to bat)
Lid Albion C&D - I’m old and like it.
Bag superb from this very forum

First of all, brilliant set of kit all-round! Those Insignia look fantastic. I too am a stickler for plain, white softs. I currently use Newbery SPS gloves and am looking around for a second pair. Many friends have recommended Woodstock softs (and bats) to me and are winning me over vs Phantom etc - which model are your Woodstocks and how do you find them?

Woodstock Platinum - from memory Ebay (saved search Woodstock Cricket)

They are incredibly soft palms. I’m impressed.
