It may well just need a quick sanding down, and given a few coats of linseed oil, which is pretty simple to do yourself if you have some time on your hands.

I'm thinking of sending mine back to Salix.

Do you know how much they charge?

Also, will I be able to get the new stickers if my bat is from last season?

To be honest don't think a refurb will make a difference if its not pinging anymore.

The willow could have dried out a little bit throughout the winter break. I had the same last year. I have a lovely Gray Nicholls Fusion which was brilliant towards to the end of the previous season, used it in the nets after a lengthy break and didnt feel as good.

The only way i could offer any advice is if you could stick pics up of the bat so i can see condition. If it went well last season then i don't see why a refurb wouldn't help, but better if i could see pics. It may just need a good sand and a light oil and knock in again.

Same as all the other forums pal. Upload them onto Photobucket or ImageShack, and copy the Image URL.

Get a refurb done on it and I'm sure it will be just fine.
