As your upgrading it would be rude not to take a look and I guess as the most popular club all in 1 protection

I've tried on the gn thing and the new one is incredibly light (likely to be lighter than the P2 Strippers and the Kookaburra Pro Guard) but when I malleted them I may as well not have been wearing them.  They offer next to no protection. I've not seen the Slaz model yet.

I have no doubt but I have seen a increase in the all in one and not all strippers mate

The v6 P1 is a lot less bulky than the previous versions.  Have you tried it?  Do you need P1 protection?  Also, and not wanting to put words in your mouth, is fit the number 1 factor for you?

Fit is the only issue ie bulk,weight,

Protection is a given with strippers always have been since obo days

Yes the v6 p1 is less bulkier but still bulkier thn the remfry I currently use but as I said I like the all in one system

so I paid about £100 plus a bit and got all five as for me they are equally important. there is no point in an ill fitting super protective set and equally there is no.point in a perfect fit that doesn't protect you.

personally I tink the aero prices are about right.

Well to summarise my Kookaburra Pro Guard experience - the fit was awful, manoeuvrability was fine, protection was no good, weight was okay and they were not durable at all because they lasted only one season.

I've been using Strippers and Remfrys since getting back into cricket.

I have just bought an Adidas inner thigh pad and was wondering what the long bit of material is for?

I would put the strap from my outer thigh pad through the loops on the inner, so what is the additional bit for?

in case you want a better fit and have two straps around your waist, one for the outer and one for the inner.

It's probably already been said but I purchased the Aero P2's over the winter. I love them. Very comfortable and very good protection, though mind you they are starting to get a bit smelly now, I should probably work out how to wash them at some point. Anyway, for the £35 I paid for them I think you'd struggle to get much better. Our Chairman (being a fair bit wealthier than myself) has the P1's and is of much the same opinion.

Take the foam parts out, secure all the Velcro hook areas to the loop areas and put them in the washing machine. Should be good as new after that!

Haha thanks for the advice. I actually have washed them now and they are as good as new.
