Yeah the young lad picked it up last night, I think he was a bit surprised at the size of it for the weight.
He�s only just arrived from sth Africa so I wanted to make something that would suit the wickets in Oxfordshire and stop him breaking the toes on his bats,, he also wanted it a little longer than sh size as he�s growing rapidly.
So well chuffed with it tbh

And I�ve enjoyed shaping that toe profile again,,,, food for thought

Back on with this again as the weather has been nice enough to get out and weld it up etc,(worked ok held together with g clamps)
I�ve got a feeling I�ll be spending a lot of time tweaking it, but chuffed I got there eventually
It must be 7yrs since I first started to play around with building a press,(and a portable one at that)
The chap it was for has long since (No Swearing Please) off, and maybe that was the inspiration to crack on and build it,, who knows
