Yes I�d agree,,,, after over 40yrs of playing, I suppose I�ve seen every possible shape of bat.
The shape/profile I�m shaping , just seems to work
It�s not easy to produce, as the spine has to run fairly straight to the toe.
Then the profile has to follow that line, which means getting the balance and pick up right, whilst keeping as much wood in the bat as possible.

One big thing I do want, is to get the finish of the bats, as good as possible
It takes time, but , that�s what ultimately will set me apart
